PP-homo – homo polypropylenePP-homo is a homopolymer of propylene; it has crystalline order and it is a more cost-effective material compared to propylene copolymers (PP-impact and PP-random). PP-homo has good electrical insulation properties (dielectric strength – up to 45kV/mm), which are very important when fire-resistant modifications of the material are used. Melting point - 170°Ñ, maximum operating temperature up to 140°Ñ. Unlike block-copolymers, it is not frost-resistant. For in-depth analysis we seldom refer only to the Foreign Trade Code (Group 3902), but we make our own more precise correlation of polypropylene types by each grade of each producer.
