PVC soft compoundSoft compound is mix of PVC-S and additives. As a rule, PVC-S used K-70. Additives include stabilizers, plasticizers, modifiers, waxes, pigments and fillers. PVC-P has high elasticity within a wide range of temperature from -60 to +100Ñ, good dielectric properties, water-resistance properties and it is resistant to many organic solvents. Shortcomings of PVC-P are tendency to loosing elasticity and frost-resistance when in service. For in-depth analysis we seldom refer only to the Foreign Trade Code (Group 3904), but we make our own more precise correlation of compounds types by each grade of each producer.
