LLDPE – linear low-density polyethyleneLLDPE – linear low-density polyethylene is obtained as a result of improved LDPE production processes through gaseous polymerization at low pressure. LLDPE in its structure is similar to HDPE and in terms of properties it is transitional between LDPE and HDPE. LLDPE is similar to HDPE in its structure, i.e. it has linear structure and, at the same time, more and longer side branches – short chains – allowing controlling density of the polymer up to 0.94 g/cm3. For in-depth analysis we seldom refer only to the Foreign Trade Code (Group 3901), but we make our own more precise correlation of PE types by each grade of each producer.
